Blue Indigo Creative | Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: July 7, 2025
By booking with Blue Indigo Creative and completing payment, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Scheduling
Appointments can be requested online through our booking system. We will do our best to schedule sessions at the most favorable time, based on lighting and weather conditions. However, it is ultimately the client’s responsibility to ensure the property and conditions are ready at the scheduled time.
Blue Indigo Creative reserves the right to adjust or reschedule appointments as needed to accommodate logistics and best serve all clients. Should this occur, we will provide notice via phone, text, and/or email.
Travel & Parking
Travel is included for locations within a 50-mile round trip. For appointments exceeding this distance, a travel fee of $1.00 per additional mile will apply, calculated from the starting location of our team member.
If paid parking is required, we will select the most affordable option and pass the actual parking cost directly to the client.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment on our calendar. All sales are final. No refunds are provided.
If a session is canceled, your payment will remain as a credit on file for up to 12 months and can be applied toward future services.
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or no-shows (defined as arriving more than 30 minutes after the scheduled time), will incur a $100 cancellation fee.
If a revisit is required due to the property not being ready, last-minute changes, or additional requests outside the original scope of work, a $150 return fee will apply.
Property Readiness
Clients are responsible for ensuring the property is fully prepared and shoot-ready upon our arrival. A pre-shoot checklist will be provided after booking.
Our team may make minor adjustments, but we are not responsible for cleaning, staging, or property preparation. Properties will be photographed as-is.
Blue Indigo Creative is not responsible for securing the property, locking doors, or turning off lights, fireplaces, or appliances after the session.
Delivery Timeline
We strive to deliver assets within the following timelines:
- Photography: within 48 hours
- Cinematic Videos: within 7-10 business days
- Social Media Content (Reels/Shorts): within 7-10 business days
Deliverables will be provided via a shared download link (Dropbox, Google Drive, or equivalent).
Refund Policy
All sales are final. No refunds will be provided. If an appointment is canceled, the payment will remain on file as a credit for up to 12 months from the original booking date and may be applied to future services.
Revisions
Standard editing and retouching are included. Additional editing beyond the original scope, including advanced Photoshop work or additional footage requests, may incur extra charges starting at $10 per photo or billed at a custom video editing rate.
Usage Rights
Blue Indigo Creative retains full ownership of all media, including photos, videos, and social content created during the project. Clients are granted a single-use license to publicly display the media for the marketing of the specific property or project.
Media may not be significantly altered, resold, or transferred to third parties without written consent.
Drone Operations & Safety
All drone flights conducted by Blue Indigo Creative are operated by FAA-licensed drone pilots. Drone services are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled or canceled if conditions are deemed unsafe, including but not limited to high winds, rain, or proximity to restricted airspace.
We reserve the right to refuse drone flights at any location where safety, legal restrictions, or FAA regulations would prevent safe operation.
If a drone flight cannot be completed due to unsafe conditions, Blue Indigo Creative will offer one of the following, at our discretion:
- Rescheduling the drone portion of the session at no additional charge.
- Providing a credit toward future drone services.
Clients are not entitled to a refund if drone footage cannot be captured due to safety or regulatory issues beyond our control.
Promotional Use
Blue Indigo Creative reserves the right to use any media we create for our own marketing, social media, website, and portfolio. Clients will not receive compensation or royalties for our promotional use of these materials.
By booking with us, clients grant Blue Indigo Creative ongoing permission to use the media for promotional purposes.
Liability
We reserve the right to refuse service if a location is unsafe due to weather, environmental factors, or other hazards. Blue Indigo Creative is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or accidents that occur on-site during the session.
Agreement
By completing payment, the client confirms they have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
